LA.U.RA. Digital twin for Agritech

About the project

LA.U.R.A creates the digital twin of crops to analyze their quality and evaluate the damage generated by adverse climatic events. Thanks to Action for 5G it will be possible to control the rover in real time and remotely and the AI algorithms for data fusion between satellite images and those detected by the rover will be optimized.
The technology behind the solution combines artificial intelligence, sensors and 5G connectivity. The analysis of high-resolution satellite images and advanced artificial intelligence algorithms make it possible to "read" the health status of crops, learn over time, integrating data from different sources, and monitor their evolution. In this way, farmers can optimize the use of resources and prevent problems before they become critical.
Then LAURA comes into operation, an autonomous rover capable of moving independently even on rough and unknown terrain. Thanks to sophisticated autonomous driving algorithms, LAURA adapts its route in real time, avoiding obstacles and following the indications of the central system. Thanks to 5G, with very low latency and high data transmission speed, it is possible to control the rover remotely in real time. This continuous flow of information allows you to create a true digital twin of the agricultural field.
